Angry Incoming mail duplicated many times

I am using ZD v.7, on a Windows 7 pc. All was working well until a couple of weeks ago. Now the sync is malfunctioning. Each time the "send/receive" is activated, all the messages in the inbox are downloaded again, despite the fact that the delete after delivery button is ticked. This generates error reports every few minutes, as per the following:-

Looks like the POP3 server is sending bad/unexpected data.

Please enable debug logging in account setup; this will output the protocol details to zdesktop.log. You can then attach zdesktop.log here, or create a bug and attach it there.

Default Same duplicating mail

It happens in both in-box and sent box for Yahoo.ca mail. I turnrd trace on and pressed received/send ..no log generated.
7.0.1 build 10791
win7x64.

Same here. Ever since I loaded zimbra 7, nothing works right. Yahoo account- MANY multiple downloads of messages, and my address book no longer syncs. Brilliant. And seemingly no progress on fixing the problems.

Zimbra has lots of potentials..this problem could not be supported by members within other than the Zimbra software team.

Not sure Zimbra has used the most recent Yahoo API.

Both of the problems with Yahoo are caused by apparent recent changes on their servers. The problems also occur with ZD 2.0.1; it is quite an unfortunate coincidence that the changes on the Yahoo servers occurred around the same time we released ZD 7.0.1.

The duplicating emails problem is fixed for our ZD 7.1.1 release.
Bug 59773 - Zimbra Desktop duplicating emails

We are working with Yahoo to reinstate our address book API service.
Bug 59849 - Yahoo address book synchronization has been temporarily blocked for this account.

In parallel we are also exploring migrating to the new Contacts API.

Default version 7.1.1

When will we see the version 7.1.1 be released..at least to stop the duplicating emails.

Will the Yahoo Contact API be incorporated in time for the 7.1.1.1release?

edit: I hope it is a patch to fix the issues ..just to change several fikes...as the whole package is 80Meg file ..big..

Since VMW purchased Zimbra from Yahoo, I am surprised and disappointed that the purchase agreement apparently didn't include communication and cooperation between the two companies with regard to reliable, uninterrupted access to Yahoo mail servers and formats.

I had hoped that the special relationship would allow Zimbra to provide uniquely reliabe access to Yahoo mail but it appears that isn't the case.

I've tried several other products for this purpose, and they kept having problems every time Yahoo changed something (which is often). I thought Zimbra could resolve that problem but it appears it can't. That's unfortunate.
