Hi guys. I have difficulties with Zimbra Desktop. I can access Zimbra from web interface and it syncs ok, but no luck with ZD. It does initial sync and then fails to communicate with remote server. Tried to delete Zimbra account and created again, no luck. Please see below for the debug info.

What version of ZCS and ZD are you using?

Generally I would suggest trying with ZD 7; if the problem still occurs there then we'll be in a better position to debug.

Having same issue. But doesn't seem to be ZD, as it is happening in web client as well.

Raulito, can you confirm is the web client versions is affected too?

Yes, you are right the problerm isn't with ZD, something wrong with particular email account. I added this account on my ZD and it responded with the same error.
It works fine on web version. However, there is an error message "A network service error has occured; Code CSFE_SVC_ERROR; detail: HTTP response status 500"

Yeah we are having exactly the same issue on a specific account. May need to request a support ticket. Unless someone on here can help.

Ok, we worked out it was something corrupt in the contacts folder.

After clearing out this folder, the issue disappeared.

To see if its a problem with your users contacts folder, in the web version do you get an error initially when logging into the account. And then everytime you select the address book? Or the Calendar tab?

We raised this issue with Zimbra support. There was a problem with Contacts folde indeed. Problem solved now. Cheers.
