Can't drag to local folders

Zimbra Desktop 2 permits creation of local folders, and Zimbra manual says you can drag messages and folders to local folders to offload storage from the server to the local computer. But whenever I drag something to a local folder (getting the green outline) I get the message that "an unknown error (remote.CONNECT_FAILURE) has occurred. This is the latest version of the 60-day trial of zcs 6. Am I doing something wrong? What is the correct proceure for archiving to local folders?
