Default Zimbra Desktop 2.0 Error on Win XP XP3

Hi,
I try to install Zimbra Desktop 2.0 on Win XP SP3 and I can`t complete the installation because it show the following message when I try to execute.

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: file:///C:/Archivos%20de%20programa/Zimbra/Zimbra%20Desktop/win32/prism/modules/WebAppProperties.jsm:232
If I select continue, then shows this error:
Couldn't access Zimbra Desktop server. If issue persists after reinstall, please check logs for errors and report to Zimbra Desktop - Zimbra :: Forums.
Then I select OK and the application turn-off.
I follow the steps but the error persists.
Please help me.
Thanks,
Andres from Argentina.

Hi, I follow the steps detailed in the bug 52003 posted by trolo_vk and a new error appears and it is the following:
A message with "Windows Script host.....Initializing, please wait, button accept", if y press Accept, the message apears again one time and disapears automatically and then show another message " File operation failed. Please close any open files under C:\Documents and Settings\AFA\Local Settings\Application Data\Zimbra\zdesktop\log", the log is empty and Zimbra Desktop 2.0 never runs.
Please, somebody help me to resolve this issue.
Thanks

Default Bummer!!

Hello!

I just tried to get it working also, with no luck. Not even the proposed workaround... worked.

I installed it on 2 portuguese Windows XP SP3, no go.

This is a major showstopper for ZD 2.0 on Windows XP. Lets hope a new version will appear fast, I'm using it on Mac too and it seems nice and fast.

Regards,

RA

I have the very same problem. We are a 120 users company trying to migrate from Outlook 2007 to ZD but since all workstations have XP it seems impossible.

Hope we can find a solution soon,

Pancho
