You haven't given any details of which version of ZD you're using. Your profile mentions the beta, is that still the case? If it is you should be aware that the GA was released a short while ago, update to that and see if that still has the problem. Which type of server are you connecting to and how (Yahoo, Gmail, POP, IMAP etc)? Is that all the output from the error? If not please post the full output.

Default Zd 2.0

It's the GA version of ZD 2.0 I had removed the Beta version and this happens everytime it tries to sync to our Zimbra Email Server. So not using Yahoo or another 3rd party it is Zimbra to Zimbra. E-mails can be sent an received, but this error message always pops up after synchronizing. I don't know the version of the Zimbra Server, unfortunately.

can you zip and attach zdesktop.log. we are looking for errors before that AssertionError.

Thank you, but I don't see the AssertionError in the log file. Can you harvest your zdesktop.log right after the problem happened? Or it's no longer reproducible?

Default Deleted my library files on my Mac

I removed the zimbra directory under "library" and this got rid of my archive and all my settings, but solved this issue. I had been using the beta version of desktop 2.0, so I'll chalk it up to a beta to GA migration issue.
