I get this error message in the new beta version of Zimbra on my mac:

java.lang.outOfMemoryError: java heap space error.

What can I do?

What sort of MAC, which operating system and which release? Which beta version have you installed?

That's not much of an error report, where's the rest of it? When do you get this error? Does it always happen and what are the exact steps to rep[roduce it? How much RAM do you have on this machine?

I have: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100402 Prism zdesktop/2.0

Don`t know how much RAM I have but it`s a new Mac.

I downloaded: Zimbra desktop 2.0 (10514)

I get this error message when it`s trying to cync and get e-mails.

here is a workaround:

1) look for this file:

/Users/<your user name>/Library/Zimbra Desktop/bin/zdesktop

2) open it with a text editor and search for -Xmx100m

3) change that to -Xmx150m, save the file

4) restart ZD

the above steps increase the max. heap size (related to total memory usage) from 100MB to 150MB.
