Default Zimbra not starting up

I've had Ziimbra installed for some while now and it's been working fine. Today it failed to start up.
I re-installed as requested but still no joy.

I looked at the log file and the only thing I could interpret was a file not found error. I do recall seeing AVG report a Fake Alert error on a file which appears to be a .msg file. AVG moved the offending file to quarantine. It is this file that Zimbra is reporting as being inaccessible.

Code:

If you can figure out which message this is and delete it from your server you may be able to get around this. If you open the .msg file with a text editor you should be able to see the content.

It looks like we are trying to download the message data from the server but AVG has quarantined the file so it cannot be written to. It is possible that the quarantine will also stop us from deleting, but it is worth a try.

The other, more drastic option would be to reset the account after you have deleted the offending message from the server. This will cause us to download all of your messages again, so depending on how big your mailbox is this might be time consuming.

It appears that you are using 1.0 and this error is preventing you from getting to the account setup page. If so, you probably need to uninstall; then remove the offending message from the server; then reinstall.

You may also consider trying 2.0 beta 4. Your error should be fixed, since we no longer use the section of code which is causing the fatal system error. Details are here: Zimbra Desktop 2.0 Beta 4 is now available!.

Please make sure that you read the FAQ and installation instructions for ZD 2 before you install it.

[QUOTE=agriturismosardegna;215186]Hello,
have you resolved the problem?

Frankly, I gave up trying and just stopped using Zimbra Desktop.
