Default Can this actually be true?

We have been trying out Desktop Beta 2 at our company.

One of our employees was worried that his error reports were being automatically sent to Zimbra, is this possible? (including e-mail contents)

I'm pretty sure it says in the error report email to remove any sensitive data.

It does indeed say that but my colleague is saying they were sent automatically.

I'm hoping they can't actually be sent this way.

What I am asking is do you have to actually click on something saying "send report" or can it be automatic?

Going from memory I think it acted like the drafts folder. After an error a new email would showup in the folder that you would have to send manually. I remember at one point I had 4-5 emails sitting in there.

Error Reports are NOT sent automatically to Zimbra. They are placed in an 'Error Reports' folder in zdesktop. If you want to submit them, select the message in that folder and there is a button in the header that says 'Report'. Click on 'Report' to submit the report to Zimbra.

No it's not. Zimbra Desktop does not automatically send error reports, they're strictly voluntary.

error replies give information about errors that zdesktop runs into while it runs and gives some generalized debugging information in an attempt to improve zdesktop. If you look in the error reports folder you'll see any error reports you have, and have the option of sending them to zimbra to help improve the product. If you don't wish to share them, simply delete them.
