Sync failure with Yahoo mail box

Hi,

I have finally succeeded in setting up Zimbra Desktop 2.0 Beta 1. However, after downloading the mails from Yahoo earlier, now it gives sync errors every time I click on Send/Receive. The error is as follows.

Failure communicating with remote server. Please try again later.

Hi, if you hear something about this let me know! There's another thread already open for this exact error, but no one seems to be paying attention to it at all. It's very frustrating.

I installed Zimbra 2.0 Beta 1 after three days of efforts and it then started giving error while sync with Yahoo mail. As the thread was not responded to with any steps for resolution in spite of the log entry attached, I have now installed Zimbra desktop 2.0 Beta 1 and have gone back to good old Zimbra 1.0. The reasons are multiple
a) Zimbra 2.0 is in "real" beta stage as per my experience.
b) Sync errors with Yahoo mail box on one account and not on another.
c) Could not send mails from account which will not sync. This was the deciding reason.
d) All data stays in C drive and no option to keep it on some other drive. I never keep any user data on C drive (only programs) as a practice.

Will consider reinstalling once again when GA is out. Will watch out forum threads before that to see general feedback.

Thanks for posting your decision to uninstall 2 and go back to 1. I may not be far behind you in doing that soon.
