There won't be any 'progress' unless a bug report was filed, did you file one? You've also posted this in the Zimbra Desktop forums, is it a problem with Zimbra Desktop and have you tried with the latest Beta of ZD 2.x?

I'll submit a bug report once I've done some futher testing,at the moment I'm just joining in on the bandwagon of this thread....
