Question Sent Mail/Trash

1st - none of my mail is being saved to my sent mail, the last item I have in there is from 12/5/2008.

2nd - how can i configured zimbra desktop to keep mail in my trash for longer than 3-4 days..

Are you talking about Desktop? This sounds more like ZCS.

OK, what kind of mail account are you using? Is it Yahoo?

No it is a gmail account.

So for gmail we actually rely on gmail SMTP to add message to Sent folder on the server. Then we sync that down to the Sent folder in Desktop.

Could you first make sure that the Sent folder in Gmail server has the outgoing messages?

yes, it does. Has everything i've sent up to 3/22, which is the last email i sent out.

no, the only place I have green dots are on my accounts. (gmail, and yahoo)

Default fixed

this looks to be fixed with the latest ZD version that came out in the past couple days.. I now get my sent items. Any chance of being able to configure trash deletion in the near future, as of now my trash only holds a few days worth of messages...
