Exclamation [SOLVED] Update fails - ZDesktop build 1510

Hi! I have build 1510 installed and when I started it up today said it had an update. The Updater appeared but then failed to make contact with the server. I checked the link for manual download and it wanted to download 1482.

Was there a rollback?
Please advise.

could you please try again? it should work now.

there's no rollback, but on website it's still build 1482 the RC1 release. you are seeing an update because you opted in the beta network to receive more frequent updates between releases. remember there's a check box at the last page of install?

Jin,
Ah, yes, I did do that.
But, weird, the About Zimbra popup says build 1510 and the title bar in ZD says 1465. The build downloading now is 1482. Is that a typo?

P.S. Also, the Quick Reply function in this forum is not working for me.

Default I get the same thing

I ticked the "beta" box when I installed ZD RC1 for the first time.
A few days ago (Wed 25 Feb) it updated me to build 1510. Today it is telling me I have another update. But when I ask it to download and install I get an error message:

update error1.png.

If I go to the url mentioned to manually install it it offers me build 1482. But I am already on build 1510 and jjzhuang says in the forums Never downgrade to older versions.

When I paste into my browser the url setting for "app.update.url" in "<zdesktop install location>\win32\prism\extensions\prism-runtime@developer.mozilla.org\defaults\preferences \preferences.js" It displays:

Code:
<updates>
−
<update type="minor" version="" detailsURL="http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?title=Yahoo!_Zimbra_Desktop" licenseURL="http://www.zimbra.com/license/zimbra_public_eula_2.1.html">
<patch type="complete" URL="http://files.zimbra.com/downloads/zdesktop/updates/1512/zdesktop_1_0_build_1512_win32.exe" hashFunction="md5" hashValue="8cfb8aabf2e6fb6ded7843eb8e14a9a7" size="50615296"/>
</update>
</updates>

Where does it say 1465? That's a typo. Could you show me a screenshot?

Okay, I'm nutz. Sorry for the confusion and waste of attention and time on your part.

The build is correct. I am in the beta program and the update went from 1510 to 1512.

What I was seeing was the same numbers as the email ID number at the top of the title bar. Seems I have about the same number of email in my inbox as is the build number.

Back to your regularly schedule Sunday programming.

Default Same problem

I had the same problem. A requested update was installed and now I can't attach to the server. The message tells me to reinstall, but the only one available on the website is older than the previously involved version. It mentions Zimbra doesn't support that functionality
