[SOLVED] mail in shared folders not visible on ZD Mac 0.92 (1433)

ZCS 5.0.12 NE Mac OS 10.4

ZD 0.92 build 1433 Mac OS 10.5

Steps to reproduce:

1. Save mail into a folder on account alice@zimbra.company.com.
2. Create a view only share for barry@zimbra.company.com. (These names are made up as examples.)
3. Log in as barry with ZD 0.92 build 1433 Mac OS 10.5
4. Accept the share.
5. Click on the folder. The mail isn't there!

At first I thought that hitting send/receive would temporarily solve the problem but now I realize that this simply changes my folder selection to the Inbox, so I was seeing the mail there.

After looking at Zimbra Desktop Beta 5 + Sharing, Fisheye, Yahoo! (& Google) Cal Sync » Zimbra :: Blog I tried having the creator of the share (alice@zimbra.comparny.com) edit the name of the share with the web client and then sync.

This seems to make the contents of the shared folders visible to barry@zimbra.company.com.

The blog page isn't 100% clear on whether barry might be able to fix the problem himself, and now I am having difficulty getting it to occur again. So I will keep the blog tip in mind as a workaround if it crops up, and mark this as "solved" for now.
