Can not re-install or uninstall after Zimbra Update

Zimbra updated itself, and then once I re-started the program It would not load. I tried to re-install it, and couldn't. I tried to uninstall the program and couldn't without error.

do you see these files: log/zdesktop.out log/zdesktop.err? what's in them?

what's the error you got when you tried to uninsall zd?

hey, try the "revo" uninstaller. Found on download.com. It will uninstall anyway.

I don't see an err file at all. But this is what the .log file has

Sorry, I can not replicate the problem you are experiencing.

Here is a workaround you can do:
1) go to the folder you installed zdesktop, there should be a sub-folder: .install4j
2) delete the ".install4j" sub-folder
3) download the latest zdesktop installer from zimbra.com and rerun the installer
4) *** make sure you use the same installation folder you used before
5) *** when prompted about overwriting existing files, select "Yes to All"

You won't lose any local data after the installation.

I did as you suggested. I re-installed it at the same directory. when it installs I get this error message. Failed to inject zimlets. Some features may be missing.

Then when I tried to start zimbra I got this error. Couldn't start Yahoo Zimbra desktop server, giving up!

I tried uninstalling and re-installing zimbra completely, and still get this message when trying to install or start the program.

However, this time I did get an err file:

by the way, what's the name of the windows installer you were using?

I tried to attach the log but it was 4.28mb and it exceeded the file size limit. Is there somewhere I can send the file to via e-mail.

Where would I find what windows installer I was using?
