Ok no. this "maintenance mode" thing is bit more persistent than I thought. The only exception that shows up in the current zdesktop.log file over and over is "com.zimbra.cs.mailbox.MailServiceException: mailbox in maintenance mode: 8"

That probably makes the log file less interesting.

The zdesktop.log.2008-10-08 file has better stuff though, with things like "java.sql.SQLException: The statement was aborted because it would have caused a duplicate key value in a unique or primary key constraint or unique index identified by 'SQL080925094415200' defined on 'IMAP_MESSAGE'.", so I'll attach that one too.

what was the version you were running before upgrading to 1338? was it beta3 build 1278?

Not sure, I downloaded it by going straight to Zimbra on your Desktop and clicking the windows download.

Actually, .install4j/installation.log mentions this:

I'm seeing the same exact problem after upgrading to build 1338. I got a bunch of "Error Reports" messages in my Outbox stating that syncing had been disabled for all my folders because of this error. I'm going to try an uninstall and data wipe and then upgrade to build 1344 and sync all.

I deleted the Zimbra folder, which deleted all the old saved data.
