Default Also ESC problems

I see the same DEL problem from time to time, but not every time. Also when I use ESC button to close a mail I have opened, I have to press ESC twice every time to close a message. Annoying.

I run Ubuntu 8.04 and have mails sorted by conversation.

I downloaded about two weeks ago. How do I determine the version I'm running?

Default This may be related, re: deleting and syncing

I popped the following into the General section, since I wasn't sure if it was an error:

Messaged deleted offline are not deleted in Yahoo! when sync'd

Perhaps it's related...?

The user is on a Mac laptop and used the delete key to delete messages when offline. They disappeared as if deleted, but when he sync'd to Yahoo! the deletions did not sync back -- the messages remained on Yahoo!.
