Default java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Hi all,

I've run into kind of a strange sync problem. My ZD gave me an error that the server was unavailable, but checking the webinterface it was purring like a kitten. So i thought it was a network glitch. Just in case , as a control i set up a ping to my server and to google. About 10 minutes later i got this error again, and checking the pings, no packet loss.

The ZD logs produces something about out of memory.. I have an ubuntu 8.04 running with 2 Gb internal , and checking my mem usage reveals that i'm not out at all.

Looks like you have a message with a really large body or large text attachment. Do you know which message is causing the problem? If not, turn on debug logging for the zimbra.soap category and repro the OOME. This will log the GetMsg request, which has the message ID. I filed bug 30745 for this issue:

Bug 30745 - OOME when handling GetMsg
