Default Which elements make Zimbra to a Rich Internet Application?

hi everybody,

i´m a student from germany and i´m writing a diploma thesis about webapplications with rich user experience, so called rich internet applications. one of my questions is, which elements are used to have a better user experience and a better usability. is there a list that describe what a webapplication need to be "rich internet application"?

i hope you can help me or give me some useful hints

thank you for your answer, your posted hyperlinks are very interesting. i try to define what a rich internet application- element is and what the benefit for the user is. do know if there is an overview about used ria- elements in zimbra?

Welcome to the froums,
I take it you use zimbra somewhere/at your school etc?

How about:
zimbra rich internet application - Google Search
(you can switch to german of course)
Search some combinations of 'rich internet applications', 'Zimbra', and 'ajax' and you'll get a bunch of stuff.

While you'll get a lot of docs that have list's at the bottom that have zimbra in it-like the below-their still good background info.
