Default Binary attribute with (Ldap)Provisioning

Hello,

I try to manage the userCertificate;binary and userPKCS12;binary LDAP attributes for Zimbra accounts. How can I get/update a binary attribute (byte[]) with Account et Provisionning classes ?

Thx,
Martial, a french user of Zimbra

Oooh. Interesting. I didn't know that these existed. Gotta go play with thoose.

Take a look at the Samba LDAP extension. It should give you some basic ways to access the LDAP tree.

Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to using existing Zimbra APIs, we haven't had the need. You'll have to use LDAP/JNDI.

If you can file a bug I can look at getting this into the next major release. Shouldn't be too hard, most likely will result in tweaking the API slightly to indicate a value is base64 binary data instead of text.

Don't forget to file an entry in bugzilla for this feature.

Martimic,

I also will be looking at this since I want to use LDAP certificates in the Zimbra Encryption Services.
