zimbra portlet for liferay

HI everybody,

I'd like to know if there is something about zimbra portlet?
My goal is to develop a portlet for zimbra (or some of fonctionnalities) for liferay portal !
Is that possible?
How can i proceed ?

Zimbra is extremely versatile.

However, I'm afraid I don't have any experience with Liferay. If it follows general specs, then it will be possible.

Some things you may want to look at are preauth, and ldap.

for LDAP i have already do authetication on liferay from an external OpenLDAP.
for preauth, sorry i don't know what does mean ??

I tried to configure preauth.jsp with zimbra but when i ask the page:
http://"my zimbra server"/zimbra/preauth.jsp
i receive a page with the message:
---------------------------------------------------
The connection was reset
the connection to the server was reset while loding page
------------------------------------------------------

any help ??
