User Mail Filters

Is there anyway to run a Mail Filter on existing messages in the Inbox? For instance if I create a message filter that applies a Tag to all messages from "Joe", is there a way to execute that newly created filter on the existing messages?

Not yet. This request is already entered in our bug data base. Of course you can run a search over you inbox at anytime and perform the action manually(move messages, tag messages, etc).

Any idea if/when the option to manually run filters will get implemented? Ideally it'd nice to be able to run them on an individual folder. As all filters and as an individual filter. But to start with I'd love to be able to point to a folder and say "run all the filters against this folder".

Can it be done from the command line?

Is there a way to delete on the server side? A mysql query perhaps?

Scripting using the zmmailbox command will keep the server consistent; deleting directly from mysql is generally not a good idea.
