Zimlets integration

Hi, Can zimlets run/load independent of zimlet client? i.e can i use a zimlet custom or otherwise in a html page just like the way i would embed objects in a page?

It wouldn't be a zimlet then, now would it
It'd be just a normal HTML/jsp page.

The whole purpose of a zimlet is to integrate mashup technology with the web client.
