our users would like to be able to drag&drop of files e.g. from the desktop

Hello,

our users can hardly imagine to work with a "mailer" that does not
support drag&drop of files e.g. from the desktop into the browser/
Zimbra - windows.

Could somebody give me some informations, why such a drag&drop-
PlugIn is so hard to write?
