Default Read/Write Access Control

I'm looking to implement Zimbra for mail service on a site to assist financial advisors. One of the things I'd REALLY like to do is set up certain IDs with READ ONLY access... but I can't for the life of me figure out if/how this is possible. Nearly every system has a way to do this - even if it's only by sharing e-mail folder.

Am I missing something or is this just not possible in Zimbra ?

Default Inter-user sharing works...

...but not for email folders quite yet. See bug 9396 for details and status, and please feel free to vote for it!

(When mail folder sharing is fully supported, you will be able to give other users read-only access. This is already possible for shared calendars, addressbooks, and wikis.)
