Zimbra and Liferay integration

Hi all,

Im new in using Zimbra, can anyone advise me what is the best way to integrate Simbra with Liferay in a SSO? :)

Maybe you better tell us more about your environment such as:
+Liferay and zimbra are in same network enviroment or not
+who will be responsible for managing IDs
,,etc.

Let's suppose ID is managed by Liferay,
using preauth in Zimbra, I think that you can implement any type of sso, OpenID type, SAML type etc. So maybe you better tell us what type of SSO you can implement with Liferay.

for testing purpose both of them on the same network and the same server, im new in using liferay and Zimbra, so im open for suggesstions...the IDs will be managed by the system admin...the SSO yet to be implement, i may need guidance in that area as well...

Then I think you better think about OpenID or SAML first because you can implement these within Zimbra,
and liferay seems to have support for these from my quick search:

And also these both are open standard, so there are some third party libraries out there and you can implement these easily.
