Default Konqueror problems traced

Hi,

I have been trying to get Zimbra Admin working with konqueror here and have some info for you developers.

There are several occasions when starting up that konqueror complains about usage of window.getComputedStyle as an object, ie. in and the in ZaController, line 387, DwtBaseDialog, line 140. ZaController, line 219 and so on.

After this you don't even get a login prompt, only the Zimbra logo slightly too high on the page compared to the firefox display where the logo is centered.

I will see if I can find more info for you later on.

BRGDS

Yes as you know we don't support Konqueror today or have we tested with it. I took a quick look at the code and we would need to add it to our browser detection since right now we only guard against calling getComputedStyle if the browser is Safari (which is also KHTML based)

Ahaa!

Then I will try with konqueror telling zimbra it is a Safari.
I will get back with the results. If that works then your konqueror compability work should be quite minimal.

Well we don't support Safari yet either so not sure it will work. Basically your best choice is to use firefox for now.
