Password Protect Folders

We have a single sales account that is accessed by multiple persons. Is there a way to create a folder that is password protected ??

Would sharing mail folders solve your problem instead of allowing multiple users access a single account?

Unfortunately, neither feature is implemented today but if password protecting folders is a feature you *really* want, then feel free to write up a new enhancement request in bugzilla.

Sharing folders sounds like a good idea - is this feature available inthe open source edition?

If so, can you briefly summarize on how this is done please? i.e. something like login > right click on folder > select share > enter email addressuser

pshah pointed to a link in the bugzilla. Please have a look at it. If that's the feature you want, please Vote for it. The development team uses the number of votes to determine the popularity. If a Bug or Request For Enhancement is popular they will try to integrate it.

The feature you want is not currently available in Zimbra.

But they will try to develop it if you file it as a Request For Enhancement and many people vote for it.

Before you file a new request, please search the bugzilla and ensure that no such request already exists. If it exists, just add your vote.

It is likely that many others will want this feature and it will be implemented in one of the forthcoming releases.

In short, Bugzilla is the answer to your question.
