As the Zimbra Collaboration Server runs on Linux, what does your question about a .NET VB application have to do with that?

Are you talking about POP/IMAP retrieval? If you are able to retrieve mails within your application from other servers, there is no difference in zimbra on POP/IMAP retrieval.

If it is not so, you may check zimbra wiki for SOAP API or similar, you would get helpful information there.
