Thumbs down [SOLVED] Zimbra Perforce: perforce-zimbra.eng.vmware.com: host unknown

    Hi everyone!

I'm trying to download the source code of version 7, but I'm getting the following error:

    Code:
    /java/perforce/./p4 -u public -P public1234 -c public-view sync -f //depot/zcs/HELIX-700/...
Remote depot 'depot' database access failed.
    TCP connect to perforce-zimbra.eng.vmware.com failed.
    perforce-zimbra.eng.vmware.com: host unknown.
The server is down for maintenance? any problems? is expected to return?

Can anyone provide me this information?

Zimbra perforce server is not working right now, can someone please bring it up ?

    I tried the following:

    # export P4PORT=codes.zimbra.com:2666
    # p4 -u public -P public1234 -c public-view sync -f //depot/zcs/IRONMAIDEN
    Perforce client error:
    TCP connect to codes.zimbra.com:2666 failed.
    connect: 208.91.1.25:2666: Connection timed out

    I am also getting:
    TCP connect to perforce-zimbra.eng.vmware.com:1666 failed.
    connect: perforce-zimbra.eng.vmware.com:1666: Connection refused

Is this going to be down until the git is up? If so, when will that be available for source downloads?

I don't know, but you can get somewhat recent source code here:

Thanks for the quick response. The github appears to have 8.05 code on it, however the lastest install on the zimbra website is 8.06. Is there a place to get the java source for that yet?

Nope. I wouldn't be surprised if the recent security issues Zimbra was a factor in keeping the repos private for the time being.
