Default Error while proxying request to target server

I have created my own WSDL and generated proxy classes from it to allow me to create appointments through a SOAP API call. I am supplying the same authToken that I see zmprov using, and the URL I'm hitting is: http://X.X.X.X/service/soap (where the X's represent the IP address). The SOAP call results in this exception:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: error while proxying request to target server: no such server:

Note that nothing is listed after the final colon, so I'm not sure what it's referencing. Also, there appear to be no proxies set up for our server.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas in resolving this issue.
