Chat with soap

Hello,

I've already find out that I can manage zimbra with soap and php. I have a system with php and I've seen that with soap I can send a chat message, but this is recieved by zimbra mail webpage. There is anyway that I can program with sopa in my system to recive algo the messages?

I'll explain better:
I am developing a web page over php.
I've read that I can have a function to send chat messages to the users with soap, and my question if is there any option for making another function that listens the chat events,in order to show them on my webpage, and not in zimbra mail webpage.
