Enhance Zimbra search to search local files

Hi,

as Zimbra's excellent search is using lucene as search engine, it would be nice to have an extension of zimbra that can also include searches in local filesystems.

Here is a possible scenario:
On a local fileserver (samba), a lucene indexer is indexing the local files. This index can be accessed by the zimbra server (or it the index gets copied to the zimbra server).

In Zimbra, you have a new tab in the extendes search called "search filesystem". There you can add the network shares included in the index to be incluided in the search.

This way an enterprise search could be done from within Zimbra which is something that many companies would benefit from.

Anybody interested in implementing something like this?
