7.0 and RFC2822 So, does anyone care to speak to whether 7.0 fixes any of the bajillion "we weren't reading RFC2822" bugs in the 5.x and 6.x release trains?
(If you need a list of those, check 'zilla for things I've posted; about 75% of my bugs are in that category).
Most notably, I care about "we can't get fixed-pitch wrapping and quoting right", "we can't thread by the References: header" and "we don't understand 'List-' headers, so you can't reply to lists that don't munge Reply-To without copying headers by hand", which are the ones that caused me to stop bothering to follow the 35 or so technical mailing lists I'm on (piling up about half a million messages in the last 2 years).
