Unhappy ZCS Address book customization

Hi,

The field in the address book -> contact -> "notes" .

I am trying to rename this field in the default panel so that it would be "comments" and wont be seen as "notes".

I have edited various files in

/opt/zimbra/jetty-6.1.15/webapps/zimbra/js

and

/opt/zimbra/jetty-6.1.15/webapps/zimbra/js/zimbraMail/abook

SO where ever it was "notes" , now its "comments".

Restarted zimbra , which is on localhost for developing purposes.

But cant seen to get comments .....still shows notes as field name.

Any help ? IS this the correct way to change the names of fields etc.

Cheers

Have you tried changing the text string in the L10N files? Even if you do it for the default (US English) it could work.

You mean l18nMsg_en_GB.properties file ?
There is no "notes" in there to be replaced by "comments".
