Default Getting other user's calendars without mounting them

Hi everybody!

I'm currently developing a group calendar zimlet. With this, you can easily build up groups/teams and watch the calendars of all members integrated in one calendar. For this task I'm reusing the Zimbra calendar views.

Now, I'd like to get the items of the member's calendars without mounting them. I tried by fetching the calendar in json format, but there is an "instance data" item missing, so I can't add the to my ZmApptList properly for my WeekView.

I think, I cannot use the SearchRequest as this only searches mounted folders, right?

(Don't get me wrong: The remote user has to give the permission to the local user, this is checked before the calendar is loaded)

Kind regards
Dennis

Hmm... Perhaps this is something for the Zimlets-forum instead?!??

Not sure if this will help but you can get a shared calendar in iCalendar format without mounting it:

http://server/home/user@fqdn/Calendar_name

Also in html format using

http://server/home/user@fqdn/Calendar_name.html

Hi!

But I want to use Zimbra's own calendar views to display the calendar. Is there a way to import ICS-data into these views?

Kind regards
Dennis

I think the html format (above) is probably the closest you can get.

Hmm. That would be complicated as I want to merge several user's calendars into one. And I'd like to support the "fully-fledged" calendar application.
