Zimbra: Add an appointment to calendar from php form

I come from a php background. I googled and could not come up with a solution to add an appointment to calendar. I would realy appreciate if someone could help me out since i am a newbie to this ...

This is what i am trying to do:

i have the form built with php. users are going to fill in the form and set up an appointment reminder in their zimbra calendar. need help connecting to the respective users who already have acc#. in zimbra and adding an appointment.

I'm also trying to do this, were you able to get it working?

Theorically it should be possible using their API http://zimbra.svn.sourceforge.net/vi...e=text%2Fplain but the manual and the API are badly written/coded that makes almost impossible to understand some parameters.
