Is it possible to hook the Home tab?

Does anyone have a suggestion for intercepting the home tab? For example, if the user is in the Email tab and clicks the Home tab, I would like my own js to execute rather than displaying the home tab.

My home page actually brings up ZCS, defaulting to the Email tab view, in an iframe enclosed in a div. When the user is in this iframe and clicks the home tab, I would like to hide the div (and iframe containing ZCS).
