Default zmsoap IMSubScribeRequest requires active web client session

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem? I'm issuing a SOAP request like so;

zmsoap -z -vv -m <userA> -t im IMSubscribeRequest @addr="<userB>@domain" @name="some name" @groups="testing" @op="add"

This appears to have no effect when userA does not have an active session in the web client. When userA is logged in to the web client, the user appears in the roster list greyed out in the "testing" group.

I examined a diff of the same SOAP requests/responses with the user logged in and without an active session and the only difference were the auth token values.

Can anyone shed any light?

Thank you.
