Question About "Building Zimbra on Fedora Core 5"

I just follow the wiki of "Building Zimbra on Fedora Core 5" installing the thirdpart software, but I did not understand "Grab a real JVM and Eclipse". Because there is only "go grab a real JVM. Fedora ships with gcj rather then a default Java JVM...", but author did not talk that which path the java or eclipse" should be installed, just installing default path or "opt/zimbra/"? I don't know, who can tell me that?

Thanks.

wow, i would seriously not try and use gcj!! unfortunately the build_cvs.txt is very out of date, but i would use the exact (sun!) java version specified otherwise the make process gets pretty hairy.

Building on Fedora Core 5 is pretty severly hard because of out of date documentation. I also am in the middle of revising that wiki page.

In this case, you need to grab Java not for Zimbra directly, but for eclipse if you want to use that.
