Default Logging in using DelegateAuth auth token

Is it possible to use the auth_token returned by DelegateAuthRequest to login to the Zimbra Admin panel? I already successfully used such a token to login to the normal mail interface, but specifically logging in to the admin interface doesn't seem to work. My situation is as such:

  • I have a seperate, central control panel that I use for creating a Zimbra domain and cleaning one up
  • From this interface, I would like a button to directly login to the Zimbra Admin interface
I already know about the preauth method, but I want to avoid having to store a seperate key for each domain I provision. Instead, I would like to use the global administrator account to generate a token (for instance with DelegateAuth) and use that to log in.
