Overriding ZmContact.prototype.create function

Hi all,

we have integrated zimbra in our rails application. we have developed a zimlet to drag and drop zimbra contact to our application which is working fine.

Now we want a better way of synchronization of contacts between rails application and zimbra.

some interlinked queries are
1) Is there any way through which, when a contact is created in zimbra it should also get created in our application directly instead of dragging and dropping.
2) Is there any way to override the ZmContact.prototype.create function of ZmContact Model.
3) Since Zimbra uses MVC architecture.. how to access the various methods of controller and model..?
can u gimme an example..
