Default Unread Messages in Subfolders

Hello everybody,

I found a thing that is not really nice... (Although MS does this in the 2003 Version)...

The Problem is: I use the Mailfilter to put the Messages in Subfolders. But now I cannot see that there is a new Message in this Folder if it is not expanded!!

I think this option should be added in preferences - I think Squirrelmail calls this "Kumulative Announcement" (or something like that)

Is there anything planned for this?

Regards,
Mario

It might be a useful addition. The best thing to do is have a look in bugzilla and see if it's been mentioned before, if it hasn't then file it as an enhancement request. This type of request will be more easily tracked if it's filed in bugzilla rather than the forums. When you file it don't forget to vote on it.

Maybe you might want to create a search for unread mail, save it and use that on a regular basis. Not quite the same but maybe useful as an interim measure.

Yes, I already did this (with a tag, not a search) so I see the tag is marked with unread messages...

In Bugzilla there was quite the same post (just with expanding the folders automatically instead of summing them to the next-upper (not closed) folder... But without any votes...
