Hello,
I have test ZimbraTray.jar 0.8 version. on Windows XP sp3 32 bits.
It works well, but i have understand new mails are notify only whith red icon on tray manager ?
It always say there are new message, but i think it is because i have a lot of unread mails.

I wait impatiently pop up notification.

Second question is it possible to define Zimbra as default mail client when ZimbraTray is active ?

Looks like it was user error . I had some buried emails that were unread several subfolders deep so zimbra webmail does not indicate it and zimbra tray did (it did its job well). I guess the pop up on incoming email would help a great deal. I just have to find the right combination of java for one last RHEL 5 workstation that refuses to run. Sorry for the trouble and thanks a lot for your help

zx9_r, I'm glad that you found an error, because I failed to do it - my x64 CentOS installation shown nothing.

Dear Zimbra Tray users, I hear all of you and I'll add popups in the next release, but it's difficult for me to say to what date it will be ready, because right now I'm busy on another my project (Internal Chat). Suppose the middle of March.

bartounet16, what do you mean by "default mail client"? Handling of "mailto:" calls?

Define default mail client on Windows
After it in everyone applications when you click on "Send by email" ( for example in Word, excel, Acrobat reader), its open zimbra.

I wonder whether you had considered submission of the great, and really useful, app to Zimbra Gallery (Zimbra :: Gallery ) so that it is exposed to more potential users?
Cheers

If Zimbra API hasn't been changed than Zimbra Tray should work (I haven't tested Zimbra7 myself). API doesn't depend on OS bits.

Smile Configuration file

I've tested Zimbra Tray 0.8 and I realised that Zimbra Tray stores the configurations in a plain text file in %userprofile%\.zimbratray\ZimbraSettings.xml. Is there another version where the configuration file is encrypted or at least the password is encrypted.
