Default System backup

Hi all,

Will Zimbra support addins to backupsystem like Legato, Netbackup or Tivoli?
If not will you be able to back up ALL data to disk and do "sinlge message restore"?

maybe there are som spec for the backup part that I can have a look at.
My company are looking for an alternative to Exchage wich we are currently on.

And finally when will Zimbra be released?

Best regards

Ola

With our native backup/recovery and hierarchical storage management (HSM) you shouldn't need a Legato, Netbackup or Tivoli type addon. The Network Edition supports full hot backups and single *mailbox* restore from those backups. If you'd like to get just one message you can restore the mailbox to a new/dummy account and then retrieve any number of messages.

Our first Network Edition release is planned for November.
