Question SyncRequest in Zimbra

Hi Everyone,

I am new to Zimbra and want to understand how synchronization request works in Zimbra.

Can anyone help me out by telling how the call flow for SyncRequest takes place in Zimbra or from where the call is initiated.

Thanks in advance......

Default SyncRequest

you need to first read the 'sync.txt' present in server doc.
their are 2 type of sync request
(1) sync request without sync token
(2) sync request with sync token

'SyncToken' is a numeric value that increase every time any thing happen on mailbox like new mail ,delete, read, unread etc.

so if sync req doesn't hv sync token server'll send all the mail id present in the folder but if sync token present server will send only changes that happen after that sync token.
