Default SOAP API + Briefcase

Hi Everyone,

I 've put some effort to better understand Zimbra and the various SOAP API that allow developers to communicate directly to Zimbra server, but I am not finding information related to SOAP API and calls for Briefcase. We woul like to "Talk" to the Zimbra server via SOAP to find out user info of the Briefcase section to so that we can present Briefcase info via our UI.

Is this possible ? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i dont think so there is a plain simple documented process to integerate breifcase using SOAP
but on the other hand its all SOAP between zimbra client and server and all the communication can be seen using the debug mode of client
try: Web Client URL Tricks - Zimbra :: Wiki

also try firebug in firefox browser and look at the GET and POST on Briefcase actions clicks in client.

for autentication and other commands how zimbra works there is small documentation in shape of
soap-admin.txt
soap.txt

Raj,

Thanks your info is helpful, I will follow the guidelines, but like you said everything is SOAP so the calls must be present. So GET & POST will show me the SOAP Briefcase actions ?

yes..pleas try. You will get lot of useful info how zimbra works/talks with the server.
to test..start with simple soa..ie: authentication token and other small example..then you can scale up to Briefcase stuff

good luck
