Default Calendar - Clickable URL Link in Event?

I want to create a clickable URL link in a Calendar Event. Only the Subject and Location fields appear to be displayed in the Event, so I assume the link will have to go into one of these fields.

When I put HTML tags within these fields, they are interpreted as TEXT - HTML rendering is not applied.

I am thinking that there MAY be some propriety markup syntax, similar to the way WIKI page markups work. (I have not tried WIKI syntax yet)

Any ideas on how to include HTML tags withing the Subject and Location fields of an event?

(or other ways to create a clickable URL within a Calendar Event?)

Would it be okay to put the link into the body text of the event? You can definitely do that via the GUI editor in the web client interface. Also, if I use the "copy link" command in Safari and the paste the link into the body of an event, it automagically becomes a live link using the text of the link (as opposed to the address).

(Manually typing an HTML tag doesn't work.)

From what I can see the Text field is not displayed in the Event - only the Subject and Location fields are displayed in the event.

Unless I am mistaken.

Can you CLICK on those links (somehow) that you created in the Text area?

Right-click on the event in the calendar > choose Open. Or double-click on the event. Either way, the link is visible. Testing just now with Firefox 3 under Windows XP, I have to right-click on the link to open it. That was with an appointment that I created. With IE, I find I can't click the link at all.

If I send the appointment to someone as a meeting, then once they accept it, they can open it in their calendar and the link can be clicked normally. That seems to work under both FF (Windows) and IE. However only IE seems to let you click the link in the invitation as it appears in your inbox.
