JSP and playing a audio file

Does anybody know how you can play audio from either a file or stream (blob from a database) ? It would need to be cross-browser/OS for what I am thinking off; Asterisk integration

You will require a plugin for that. I would recommend using flash since it's cross browser, cross platform and well spread.
