Default Custom Connector development for BES and Custom Storage specification in BES.

Hi,
We have our own custom mail Client and custom mail server (Similar to M***change). Now we want to implement PUSH in blackberry for mails and calendar. We came to know that, we need to write connector between BES and custom storage (Similar to that of Exchange connector between BES and MS Exchange). Can you guide us in developing a custom connector (Similar to that of Exchange connector)? What is format in which a custom connector communicates with BES server and vice versa? Any tutorial for writing BES connector? Also how to specify our custom mail server details in BES Server? Whether there is any editable parameters in BES, where we can specify our custom mail server details?

Welcome to the forums

You would need to contact Zimbra directly with relation to this especially as you have you own mailserver and client, and not wanting to use Zimbra Collaboration Server. The BES connector is closed source I believe and is only available in the commercial version of Zimbra.
