How can we get google desktop to index Zimbra client emails

We are currently using the Zimbra client and we would like to have the ablility to search the zimbra emails with Google desktop. I know that the emails are being cached to the PC but google is unable to index and search them. Does anyone know how we can accomplish this while still using the Zimbra client instead of Outlook?

I also tried to sync it and 0 mails were synced other IMAP workes fine with google desktop, please support us is there any way you can fix this?
